The idea of JK PME goes back to 2012 were several business plans have been developed and prototypes in divers sectors developed. Finally, JK PME was founded in 2020 and since that, every year has been a great pleasure with interesting projects and new challenges.
Dr. Jakob Karner
Senior Consultant & Business Owner
Dr. Jakob Karner, senior consultant and business owner has a masters degree in mechanical engineering and a doctor in biomedical engineering. Since 15 years he has worked in the field of project management. At the beginning of his career he developed high end prosthetic and medical devices for global medical device and pharmaceutical companies before he moved to corporate engineering working in the area of plant engineering on investment projects, shut down optimization and other engineering tasks. After this, he has implemented a large scale project management organization in an international company and took over senior leadership roles with responsibilities across Europe and several production sites. During this time, several business process improvements as well as organizational development tasks spiced up the job routine. Additionally, Jakob Karner has acted as interim senior project manager and coordinated as program manager long term investments >500MioEUR.
Dr. Jakob Karner has founded JK PME in 2020 and is acting as senior consultant.
How to solve specific requests and deliver complex projects?
JK PME has a large network of long standing partners. We work together with architects, lawyers and process engineering companies. Additionally, we have partnerships with project management specialists and technical consultants in the area of IT and applications.
This network allows access to specific knowledge when needed and helps to address resource bottlenecks.
